Ok like the title states... I have a new idea for my car besides the interior etc

I have my own custom made clear tail lights on my ga as of now, but an idea came to mind tonite.
I have an extra set of tail lights sitting on the shelf in my moms garage. My idea is to remove the yellow and red stock lense and mold in some semi trailer lights resembling *skyline tail lights* and i am not doing this to be a copy cat but how many people with 1991 grand ams do you see with that style tail light custom made. I don't even see that many people with clear tails for a 91 for that matter too.

I will do both brake and tail light in red and possibly do the turn signal in yellow but i'm not sure yet, as for the back up lights i will mold in small round clear lights just below the turn signal closer to the corner of the tail light assembly.

I just want your ideas on this. Thanks guys for the support. better ideas are welcome too :)

if im not mistaken, someone here (although with a newer ga) has added semi brake lights made from led's... or something to that nature.... one day i plan on changing the lights in mine to led's but i think it would def make it one of a kind!

go for dude!

that is the link to my cardomain page with my clear tail lights and fender lights. You can see how i cleared those out there . This is for those of you who haven't seen clear tail lights on a 91 ga before. Btw these were made from SE tail lights

The lights i plan on using are the LE version with the yellow lense on top and red bottom. I actually won't even use the lense part. Just the backing portion of the light.

i think skyline-esque tails would look good with that cool crosshatching pattern on the older GA lenses, best tailights ever. love that look on the GPs from that era as well
