Ok i know this has been discussed before, but....

i am building a custom fibreglass sub box, and was wondering what's the best way to aim the subs? do u prefer aiming them at the back of the trunk, or putting them behind the wheel wells in front of the tailights?

Pretty much what angle should i do it for a good sound. - PS i am running 2 kicker comps with a 400w mono amp.

Thanks.

You'll get more sound output when the sub(s) are aimed at the rear of the car.

ok, i was thinking putting the magnets against the back seat and aim them so when u open the trunk they are "looking at you" in a sense, and aiming them towards the middle of the trunk.

Practically when you stand in the middle and open the trunk they are faced right at u from the back, does this sound right?

One more question. I have to have my spare in the car, but i'm glassing the entire trunk, what do u recommend i do about this?

I put my subs as far back as they go.. Facing out the trunk

Agreed... Have your subs facing the rear, magnets facing the front, and do it that way. Use your entire trunk as a seperate, huge box.

As for your question about the spare, I think you're screwed unless you somehow make a fiberglass, removable cover or something...
