Mirrors and rims

Now THIS I think has never been asked:

1. Can Sunbird mirrors straight bolt on or is there any modding?
2. What GM rims (model and year wise) can bolt up to the car?

Reason is I'm thinking of just using only GM parts; similar to what kids in the '50s did with their first cars (they Junkyarded for appearance)

I'm also not asking for any aftermarket mirrors or rim suggetsions; just what I only like to know

some grand prix rims can fit -- just look over pontiac/chevy option, if the rims were originally mounted on a FWD car and have a 5x100 bolt pattern they will work on your car.

What is so special about Sunbird mirrors? From what I remember of the Sunbird it was pretty square, so I don't think they would fit, but they may have been the same shape--I've never really paid attention to that.
