Hey everyone,
To be honest, I do not own a GA. My mother does. It's a 2002, I do not know what trim, I do know she has the 2.2L Ecotec inside, has rear drums, no power windows. I joined this site to gather information and help her with her car. Why? Well, recently, she showed me a reciept of her GM service shehad done to her car... 500$ to change the front brakes and sand the shoes.... :???:
I decided I had to take the things in my own hands. I started doing maintenance on her car myself, and a lot of questions popped into my head while doing a few things. Since you guys do not condone posting questions in this section, I will open a new thread in a forum and list all my questions.
I am part of a few forums myself, I know the forum etiquette of searching, no need to tell me, but I seriously lack the time to search on this forum as it is not my car, and I give all of my time to my own car, which, like you guys, is a car that is rarely modified, but I love it. It's a 2002 Hyundai Elantra I have owned for about a year and I just recently turbocharged it, and am currently trying to fit a huge FMIC in...
So yeah, I know a LOT about cars, just not about this perticular one. I hope you guys will help me :)

Of course we'll help you out...for a fee :D j/k
Your mom's car would be a SE if it has the 2.2L and no power windows :)

Hey, thanks :)
Good to know what the car is exactly now huh.
Also, wow, I seriously took a look at the car and the OEM stuff is very crappy...
I really don't like the airbox design... The muffler WOW I've never seen something that huge and restricive, it is almost the whole way across the car int the back LOL
I am starting to like this place, it looks fun :P

Well, unfortunately I do not own a digital camera so i have very few pics of my own cars from meets and such, but here is the "best" ones:

Notice I have it lowered 3" with cheap springs and KYB shocks.
Since this pic I have painted the calipers red (yay, rice :D), and added an OEM high rise spoiler on the exterior. I also changed my lowering springs to H&R with a moderate 1.5" drop, my cheap springs were, well, ebay quality and I needed something a bit more serious. Now the car handles like a king.
