can someone help fast!

jsut got the car back cuz i had a bad whine under the hood...had the alternator replaced n the sound is totally gone...now..n this is like 5 minutes after i got it back when i accelerate its rough..its not an smooth accelertion..its jerky n makes a puttering sound..n now its not even starting..please help im desperate

Is it cranking but just not starting, or does it do nothing when you turn the key? Could be that the battery died along with the old alternator. Or maybe the battery terminals were not reconnected tight enough. I'd check that first, since the car needs a good electrical supply in order to run.

its cranks starts for bout a second then dies battery is hooked up my neighbor tested it n its perfect..just got it not to long ago since winter is comin
