Sounds simple, but I'm having problems with this light:

First, I need to know the bulb type and second I need to know how to replace it. I tried to get at it, but it looks to me that the entire front bumper needs to come off. Maybe the front quarter panels too.

Any help is appreciated.

The bumper doesn't have to come off...if it's anything like the 99+ the entire headlight assembly comes off with the removal of a couple of clip on the back side. When you get the assembly off, the bulb socket just twists and pulls out.

If you go to Autozone, or Murray's or some automotive parts store, they can tell you the bulb size and how to remove them :)

Only the triangular lens needs to come off. There is a single screw behind it (need a nut driver IIRC) straight down from the top when the hood is open. On the drivers side, you'll need to remove that plastic guard over the headlight area in order to expose it. Use a flashlight if you are having trouble seeing it.

The bulb is a 194/168 Amber.

Is that it? Or do I need to pry it off? I had that screw out but it felt like it was held in place at the bottom as well...

Okay... I figured it out. It was just stuck in place. Appearantly that was the first time it was ever replaced. Thanks alot.

Anyways, I bought 194 sized bulbs, but I kept looking at it and through the plastic it looked alot bigger... like maybe 2057 or 3057 sized bulbs.

It's 194. There's a small plastic dome around the bulb that's part of the rear of the lens housing around the bulb.
