i'd go with plate filler too.... i like the black theme, ever think about painting the lil pontiac logo on the front? my 94 is dark green almost black i have green tint with a layer of black to darken it, and the cough cough hubcaps are dark green too, i did the lil embleme green and it's a lil touch that makes a big difference, just a thought.

if you don't need to use a front plate on your GA don't they look so much better without one.

Depending on how anal the cops are in your area, I would keep the plate cover on. Looks a lot better.

If it's still in the garage it's coming off today! otherwise im going to have to make a trip to go get it out of storage (think its with my ram air peices)

i think it looks better without the custom plate... but its one of them things im attached too, but for all the wrong reasons (we wont get into those)

How is it that the front plate is painted black? Is that a decorative (not legally-required) plate of some sort? Is a front plate required in IN?

its just a vanity plate. (used to be a legal plate back about 5 years ago when indy still did the raised lettered plates. but no, front plates arent required in indiana. and the plate filler is back on... i must say it looks a hella lot better.

See if you can find a plate filler without any lettering on it, then carve in "Big B" or whatever you like, then paint it any cover :-D

ok. this is a test fit... not the final product but im having issues with the paint matching the new plate filler(bondo to fill in the pontiac and raise it up to the same level as the metal plate) with the metal plate....
