Anyone have any information on this?

I traded my cloth seats for leathers from a 01. The 01 had full motor movement my 99 only had up and down. Any info on the wiring of it?

Thanks.

This should help :)

... in all honesty though, all the wiring should already be done and you should just have to provide power and ground, the same as you did for the original 2way seat :)

yea, but the color configuartions didnt seem to match up and caused sparking so oppose to possibly frying the motor i'd like to do this properly. Tired of sittin so damn high.

Btw, thanks for the link.

... just an assumption but there should only be an orange (power) and black (ground) wire from the car as the rest of the wiring should be in the seat itself

Yea, but i exhanged my 99 cloth seats (2 way power) for 2001 leather seats (6 way power)

How many wires do you have coming out of the harness for the original seats? Kelly's saying that since the motor itself is inside the seat, that the only wires you should have are a hot wire and a ground wire. If you have more wires than this, get a pic of it and I'm sure one of the people on here can shed some insight on it.

I agree with Kelly & Mathison.
If you swapped out the seats with the track assembly & frame then the only connection you need is the 2 pin one for power. Wire colors are Orange (+) and Black (- / ground).
A picture will definitely be helpful in this case.

i just did this over the summer and it was plug & play. '00 Leather in a '03. The only thing I can think of is if your crossing the wires for the motor with the seatbelt sensor.

always make sure to unplug the battery when doing electrical work in the car.

this is a plug in exchange I got someone 01 seats for a 00 GT and went from 2way to 6 with just plugging in.
