11/15/2005 - Customer versions of the Pontiac GTO.R race cars that successfully debuted in this year's GT class of the Grand American Rolex Series are now being offered for sale by GM Racing. Identical to the #64 and #65 Pontiac GTO.Rs that TRG campaigned in the latter half of the 2005 season of the Rolex Series, the cars will be deliverable by December 16th, 2005 and will be available for the Test Days at Daytona International Speedway January 4 through 7, 2006

Article says $275,000 plus an additional $100,000 for a required spare parts package; so if you got about $400,000 kicking around you're all set! ;) :lol:

considering its a racecar, id say that isnt too bad, would cost well over a million to build a car of that caliber.

I wouldnt say a million to build, however corprate research and development is priceless.

Well IMO when building a race carr, research and development is part of the cost.

that's sweet. I saw one of those being built last year at Pratt and Miller. well, it was only a frame/cage when I saw it... and they had a bumper sitting around.

I wonder if the retail ones are all built at Pratt and Miller like the C6-R's and CTS-V-R's?
