Hey guys.....Anyone know anything about the design of the manifold on the old iron duke? It has a bend in it that looks really restrictive and I was wondering if a header would open it up too much. Does it need a certain amount of back -pressure to operate properly? My friend can make headers for cars and I was gonna do that if I could, but I don't want it to be counter productive. Anybody got 2 cents for me?

SERIOUSLY I dont think there is anything you could do to our engines to make them less powerfull, A set of headers would do very nice on a 2.5 and back pressure is bs, have you ever looked inside the manifold its so tiny, no wonder this engine dosent do anything, ohh, and im just playing about the beer, i love labatt.

yeah...I mean the manifold looks like it's pinched off. I'm gonna try it, at any rate
