I intend to get my LIM leak fixed sometime in the near future, (hopefully) and I was wondering what other maintenance and repairs anyone would recommend while getting this done.

I already plan to replace the thermostat, plugs, and wires, but is there anything else that I might want to take care of while the shop has my engine torn down?

Well if you have the money for it you could get ported upper and lower intakes; but that's more of an upgrade rather than a maintenance item...

At the very least it makes it easier to paint your UIM the way you want it, while it is off the car (if it isn't painted already).

Can't really think of anything other than you've mentioned, except coolant and oil change but that's a given with LIM repair anyway...

depending on milage, you could do coil packs also.

Other than that, it's like Roland said, just performance/visual upgrades :)

Get those damn hard to reach spark plugs out while you are at it - the time is right as the LIM job clears room for the job.
