Sorry no pics, aaahahaa just kidding. Seriously though I will be ordering tires this weekend, finally! Im going with Kumho Ecsta ASX High Performance All-Season(ASX in other words) tires,18s of course. TireRack has them for 88 bucks a tire so 390 or so after shipping costs, not too bad for a W rated tire that has 8's all across the traction scale. Should only take a couple days to get then I'll take them to work to mount on my rims and balance them then they go on the car for a couple weeks or so. I figure I'll see what its going to be like to have bigger wheels on and see how it feels road wise, plus I can get pics for you guys/gals since Ive been "teasing" with only wheel pics:D

don't have actual pics of the tires, but heres one off of TireRack of the tread.....

oh and by the way, these were the ONLY tires I could find with an actual tread life warranty. I couldn't find any others within my price range with one. These are an all season tire as well so I won't go through them like crazy unlike the more expensive sportier/aggressive tires

I like how the Kumho's tread looks. :)
Though I do wonder, the only ones you could find with a tread life warranty? Tirerack says their only warrantied to 30,000 miles. My Yoko Avids are 60,000, and their High Perf. All-Seasons, and they rate pretty well against the Kumhos. What did I miss? :???:
88 apiece? I swear I saw 70 apiece.

Depends on what series tire you personally have. I was looking under the 225/40/18's and Kumho, from what I saw was the ones that had a 30,000 warranty under the price range I was looking at $110 and under. The tires I have now on my stock wheels are 60,000 tires.

ive gotta concur with that, now if they only made irregular tire sizes. say.. a 235/45 or a 235/35... but they dont! )or atleast the place I go to dont sell kumhos in those sizes...)

I wish! Right now it's 215/45/17. When they wear down, I am going with 712's sized 225/45/17 in the front, 215/45/17 in the rear. :brows:
Yes, you read right.

UPDATE: Tires are on their way, hopefully by friday since tomorrow is Thanksgiving. Would have had them sooner but due to the stupid bank, they require 2 days to clear any $$ transactions(had to put money in bank for credit card) which was last Saturday. No reason for that, they had ALL of Monday to have it go through. Ordered them Monday evening, like around 8 o'clock(Tire Rack closes at 9pm) and got an e-mail tuesday morning said credit card was declined.......Anyways tires are on the way, hoping for friday then should have them mounted and balanced on Saturday since its my teams turn to work.
Hopefully weather is decent enough for atleast 1 week,if I see any snow predictions I'll just have to wait til Spring:( I'll still put them on and get pics though, wouldn't do that to you guys/gals:D

Hurry it up!! Im about to get new tuires before you even get yours hahaha! Im giving in to expensive tires, since the kumhos jumped to 90 a tire at alll local places here... just because its a 17'' rim... Which is lame. So ive decided on eitherr Falken Ziex 215/45R17 or Falken GR Beta in the same size as the Ziex's. (I need an alignment first, though. Alignment is scheduled on friday! You better hurry up, Ryan! :P

Tires will be here Monday so that means pics will be on Tuesday! I'll take the tires and rims with me to work on Tuesday, mount and balance them myself:D then stick them on,get home and snap some shots for ya'll . I won't have them on long, just long enough to get some idea on what it will be like to have bigger rims and thinner tires.

cant wait ryan, jeez!! I already got my new tires, and shined up 'em up good. Nothing like new rubber to make ya feel alive :D And if I wouldnt have got them from tire rack, i would have had to figure out how to get them mounted and balanced, so I said forget it. $225 later, I have 2 new kumho ecstas up front. (this seems to be a pattern form me, getting 2 new tires at a time, instead of replacing all 4 - and having different tire sizes
215/45/R17 up front (speedo is off by .5 mph now; so when it reads 60, my 'real' speed is about 59.5)
205/45/R17 in the rear

Im very impatient when it comes to my suspension, I had to ride on 4 crappy tires for months, and an off alignment after I lowered it.. and then I got a nail through my front right tire, so I had to run on that half flat tire (filling it up to 40psi every other day!) for 4 days before I got my new tires. So yea, Im impatient, but atleast my car doesnt swerve to the right now, and it handles quite a bit better as well.

those are the same tires I have on my fronts! haha how co-incidental. Just to let you know right now they dont have amazing launch grip, the cornering stability is alright, however they arent overly noisy.
