I attached a picture so you know what I'm talking about...
The thing is that the tool (round and yellow on top and a long metal wire on the bottom) that we all use to measure the oil ALWAYS pops up and spits oil when I rev/accelerate hard. Of course I don't rev the car all the time, I rarely do it, but I don't want this to keep happening.
Also this happens sometimes when I am just driving normal (35-60mph).
*What could the problem be?
*Why it pops up?

(The pic attached shows the yellow round thing I'm talking about; its being pointed by the two arrows)

Thanks for any help guys!!!

First of all.....it's called a dipstick....

Second of all.....sounds like you might have a little blow by in your crank case.

Thanks GA1999 for your help. I appreciate it!!!
I just got a lot of stuff fixed in that engine. Of course, a shop did it for me. I don't know much about engines!!!
Thank god I have a warranty for 90 days :)
I will definetely take it back to the shop and get it done!!!:agree:

Hmm... might just be that you have too much oil. I've heard that could cause the dipstick to pop out sometimes...

The problem is your crank case breather system. Its not functioning properly, does the 2.4 have the oil air seperator like the 2.3? Check your oil for antifreeze and water, because if your head gasket is leaking you could have water and antifreeze mixing in your oil that is boiling and causing high pressure in your crank case.
