Nice, but not awfully creative.

Are automakers like TV shows? Are they running out of ideas?

Yep!! But IMO a better execution than the new mustang ;)

That looks like a Challenger to me. Now the question is, will we ever see it on the road?

if they actualy produce it exactly or close to that then they screwed up on the Charger!

And they say the Mustang looks oldschool? This looks more like the 70's model than the Mustang could ever hope.

... I know where you're coming from Jay but for me, most of the newer design aren't doing it for me so seeing the older style that I "did" like is very encouraging :)

Kids these days!!! :shake:

:poke: j/k bud. :)

Actually I agree with you as far as them running out of ideas. It's actually the same in every industry though. Home builders are building houses that look like they were built in the 1800s, kids are wearing tha same style of clothes that I did as a kid, and even some of the new music is starting to sound like old 70s metal.

There's an old saying, "Everything old is new again." That is actually holding true in the automotive industry as well.

I see it's modeled after the '71 model with the split grille.

I know what you mean but thats not how I see it.

I see it as them trying to get the buyers who always wanted a Challenger or Mustang back in the day but couldn't afford it then, but can afford it now.

Lets face it, look how many old school Pontiac farts complained about the new GTO and how they should have made it like the original. And if they did make it like a old GTO then what? Would it be like a '64, or '68? How about a '71 or even a '74, because those were oh so hot weren't they? lol

I always liked the rear ¼ window, rear roofline and the rear fender kick up on the E-body and this car seems to have these features.

It's good to see Crysler getting away from that four way split grill. You know the grill that's on the Neon, Magnum, Charger, Stratus, Durango, Dakota, and Ram Truck.

I guess they're getting a little creative...again.

mopar rises again with this bad boy. I agree on the recent suckage of the new charger, as a hardcore mopar fan and owner of 2 dodge chargers (71 and 67) i cant belive these european wanna be muscle cars. dodge has to release this to gain back there respect, and plz chrysler, if u can hear me....NO MORE SPOILERS

I think that's all I have to say. Now, how's GM going to compete with this? They need a retro 69 Camaro / Firebird, NOW.

Well I'd hate to say it because I'm not a fan of retro styling, but I think your right. Seem's thats what everyone wants and GM needs something that will sell.
