alero sound system the same?

my friend recently got an 01 alero and her head unit does NOT say monsoon on it yet her amp in the back says monsoon. anyone know if it MUST say monsoon on the head unit for it to be monsoon or are the aleros different??

I'm not positive, but I don't think you can get an Alero without the Monsoon...that's probably why they didn't put the name on it because it's not an upgrade.

she also just told me that someone changed the speakers in it and it has pioneer 300 somethings and that it bumps pretty good, i havent heard it yet though.
