Forgive me for asking, but i have a question about hooking my new Head Unit up with my current amp. I just bought a Pioneer DEH2700 to replace my older Baupunkt Monte Carlo, problem is the Blaupunkt had 4 RCA outputs to run the amp 1 set for the fronts and another for the rears, and the Pioneer has 2. My question being, should I A. run the front 4X6's off the deck and run the rear 6X9's off the amp (both sets are Infinity reference's), or is there a way to run the fronts and rears off each side of the amp. I currently have a Pyle 4 channel 1000 watt (in their dreams,lol...) with RCA or hi level outputs. Is there a way to run 4 RCA jacks and keep the front speakers amped or should I just use the amp for the rears and run the fronts off the deck, any advice would be appreciated, mopowr79

First thing is that you dont need 250w(max) to run 4x6s anyway second you have one output on the 2700 which is a full range. It doesnt fully destinguish between front and rear just right and left so, if you run the 6x9s off the amp and the 4x6 off the deck you wont have TRUE surround sound. If you can use the high lvl input from the rear specker lines into the amp this is better. My best advise try each way and see what you like most.

Thanks, the amp was for the rears, the Infinity 6X9's like at least 100 watts nominal, I dropped the gain for the 4X6's when i amped them, The fronts are running of the deck, but I probably will run the hi laeds to get a feel for it, my amp is in the rear f the car, so it might take a bit of wiring. mopowr79
