hey i am also looking at these which one of these do you think is best? if you have a specific one that you think would work that already has an enclosure that was made just for it and is under 325 i would really appreciate it.

depends on what kind of amp you have

1 ohm stable amp.. get the first one
2 ohm stable amp.. get the 2nd one

Ugh, the first one is the same as the second (well except the coil differences) but with a box tuning of 42Hz. :barf: The second one has a tuning frequency of 36Hz which is a little better but c'mon Kicker themselves recommends lower tuning frequencies than this, I'm sure.

An L5 would probably play well in a ported box tuned to 30Hz or so, but if it must be one of those two, definitely take the second one. The third link doesn't work for me either, btw.

The second L5 12 inch that is in the larger box is a custom tuned box that was made specifically for that woofer. It hits hard. If you are looking for one sub and you have the room go for the second l5 the smaller box is not goin to have nearly the volume that the big one has. I sell both of them. If you were in Utah I could sell you the small l5 for 169$ and the large box for 235$.
