have an '01 GA SE with the tiny 4 banger.

What do I need for a 3400 swap? Engine, Tranny (4T60E?), wiring harness, PCM,.................

Also, since the 3400 is in the GT's, is it pretty much a direct bolt in without major mods.

Also, what perf. mods are available for the 3400? I had a 3100 in my GP, and there were not alot of them available....

TIA.....

Too much work for very little gain. The money would be much better spent on modding the 2.4. The 2.4 has equal or more aftermarket anyway.

You can grab GM's supercharger kit (everything needed, reprogram included) for $2200 until the last of that inventory is gone.

Ya man stick with the 2.4 , I kind of wished my car had one nowadays, especially b/c of that GM supercharger kit. Easy hp right there. Even if you have the auto, the aftermarket is wayyyyyy bigger and better for the 4 cyl series.

I also have the 4 cyl but the only upgrades I see are the CAI the pully and the supercharger, all the exhuast, and PCM mod kits I've seen are for the 3400 only, does anyone know of any other add ons for the 2.4 cyl besides CAI and pullys?

Take everything with a grain of salt, but the J-body.org forums are a good resource for researching. Piggybacks work with the stock ECU. Much of everything else has been mentioned here. What else are you looking for specifically?
