So, I installed reverse indiglo gauges on my girlfriends car a couple months ago. I was able to do it without taking the needles off. All gauges worked perfectly fine...but the fuel and temp gauges. The temp gauge and fuel gauge bubbled a bit, making the needles stick, so I decided to use duct tape double sided tape as I did on my truck, which worked fine. While in there I thought I mise well do the tach and speedo. Well in order to do this without too much of a pain I took the needles out. (have in all vehicles I have put them in without any problems).
Now, the speedo and tach does not work, atleast correctly. The temp and fuel gauges work fine. Both the speedo and tach goes all the way to the max and back down once started, as it always did, but the tach does not change at all. The speedo will move, but not correctly...when going about 70-75 it reads 40, at 40 reads about 25.
Anyone have any solutions or ideas? Thanks in advance
