93 ga wont start

Ok its cold weather season and im bringin out my winter beater. Its a 93 ga wit a 3.3 Now It hasnt been started since july. So the battery im using has been in the garage for a week now I got it from a buddy who wreckd his car. Now the battery is good it stats other cars so I dont think thats it. The ga trys to start the alternater fans move a little and then stop and it makes some noise like its still tryin to move but nuthin. Any ideas on what it could be? Could it maybe be lockd up and if so is there anyway to unlock it? Just incase ur wondering its snowd a few times already so its perty cold out.

Sound like not all the power from the battery is making it to the starter. Clean all connections at the battery, both battey and the things that hook to it. From there make sure the leads on the starter are clean.

Also to check the motor, pull the ground off the battery, bet a socket that fits the bolt on the camshaft. Try to spin the motor, if it moves freely, back to dirty connections.

Maybe a dieing starter?? But that would not be my first guess as it does ingauage and turn over the motor.
