It is a direct bolt on to your factory spoiler holes

it's a 3 piece wing too. The pedistals are separate from the wing. You have to attach the wing to the pedistals. You can either center it and use some rediculously hard-to-break compound or you can center it on the two pedistals and bondo the whole thing together, then blend it and mold it so it looks like one piece

I like the spoiler but Im going for the smooth look and shaving my trunk lid,the AED kit looks badass that way,plus everyone gets spoilers anyways,gotta be a little different

Well it would either be that or a SC/T spoiler. Which is cheaper? I like the one thats on Big Joes 94.

The SC/T spoiler is much cheaper. There is an aftermarket company that makes a SC/T look-alike for less than OEM price. But for the life of me I can't remember who it is.

or you could cut each pedestal exactly in half width-wise and make it a lower spoiler, Ive yet to see it done, and I bet it would look great.

It does fit. I have seen a 99+ spoiler on a 92-95, it doesn't look to bad, but not a fan of the spoiler. Thats why I have a custom spoiler from a FORD

Ok... here's the deal with AED wings....

The WING is exactly the same, no matter what year

the PEDISTALS from 96-98 are angled on the back end where as the 99+ are flat.

96-98 pedistals dont come "tall"... but you COULD order the tall pedistals and cut the bottom off and mold it to the 96-98 pedistals if you wanted a high wing.

the sc/t wing wont fit on 96-98's for the same reason the tall wing wont fit... the pedistals arent angled... so its not gonna fit without some sort of modding

you could also do what was stated above, and cut the pedistals in 1/2 and remold them to make it lower... but the problem is that the wing might hang partially over the back end, or ON the back end so that is something to think about as well

damn, im almost SOLD on the concept of modifying an SC/T (or a look alike, see also stang wing :lol: ) and slapping it on my 97 since the clearcoat is fading a bunch on my spoiler... but spoilers are a bitch to rip off and even more of a bitch to modify to put back on again...

Not yet, but I will when all the snow ends because I have tons of things to install:
-body kit
-fiberglassed tails
-ram air hood
-fenders
-door panels
-list goes on.....

*** My car will not be one of those ricer cars, I am going for the overal smooth and round looks. My body kit is being modified and it is not one that is on many 92-95's, so I narrowed it down a little. Plus the fenders are from AED***

The only thread of my car was when I first joined gaoc in 2004 with it almost stock.

Everything new I have for my car is right now on my bed and downstairs in my basement (in school now). Everything will be put on my car when the snow stops in Buffalo, if ever, which makes it the last winter it will be driven in :)

yeah i was gonna say...

the 92-95 def has the tall wing (and im glad i didnt make that mod to my car, i dont like the way it looks)

and TEAM AED's car is definitely not a tall wing... more of a mid wing... taller than the short, shorter than the tall

either way.... someday i WILL have that wing

Aren't all AED spoilers the same but just the legs are made differently so it can fit the 92-95, 96-98, 99-05

yeah its technically the third size, but AED does not offer it. the only size u can get on the 96-98 is the low, unless you order the low and tall pedistals and mold them together. As dan asked, he is right, they come in 3 pieces... pedistals based on year of car, and the wing which is universal for all pedistals
