Will a front bumper and headlights fit a 96-98 body style? As far as headlight brackets, I have a neighbor who can weld and fabricate brackets but the front end looks a bit wider on the current body style?

The '99-2005 front bumper is definatly wider. You will have to section it and mold it in in order to make it fit. A lot of work, maybe more than it's worth, but that part is up to you.

Where is that pic from Albany 2004?...

I was thinking of doing the same thing with the complete front end of an 03 camry. Hood, bumber, headlights, side panels. But that car has been scrapped so i have no parts.

LOL yeah (not to offend anyone) but the 99+ bumper looks gHey on the 96-98... If you don't have a GT, I'd say get a 96-98 GT bumper, otherwise a kit bumper for the 96-98. Really the 99+ bumper doesn't look bad at all, but putting it on the older GA just doesn't work out.

As for the Camry :???: keep that on the Camry!

Who is the member that molded the front grill area and air damn of a '99+ GT onto his 4th Gen? IIRC it was a red car.

if you want to change the front bumper just kit it and as far as the camry goes leave the import parts on the imports

That car is long gone. He was parting it out about a year ago maybe more. I dont think the front bumper was in good shape anymore.

Besides to go through the work to make it look descent.......It looked like a had-been bumper too. A good idea when thinking of kustomizing If you put in 100 man hours and it still has stock parts...was it worth it.
Even if the stock parts are from a nother pontiac, there still stock. These are my opinions and are not correct by any standard but it is something to think about. I hate to see a 'good' stock car get replaced with an 'ok' car that was good. Not trying to bust dreams just saving a GA
