3400 intake swap?

I have a 1995 Grand Am With the 3100 engine. I want to swap the upper and lower intake manifolds from a 3400 on to it. Will this work? Do the bolts match up with the 3100's.

This is a very important issue.

People that have possibly done this, it would be very nice if you could help me. I don't want to go buy the stuff and then not be able to use it.

If any one has some pictures that would also be great.

Please help me on this matter, i am looking for some more power out of my 3100.

it would work. but i think the EGR is a little diffrent then the one thats on your 95GA now. Also a thing to remember is that you want all your performance parts macth. I would port my TBody also. the one on there is really small and restrictive :(

EGR will be fine if its a pre 00 manifold

theres a good write up, if you search more on that site you will find everything you need. Or you can go on the 60*V6 forum and search for Brad's (Bszopi) posts, he is the one that did the swap on his 3100 Beretta and did most of the write ups on it. But anyways, yes a new(aftermarket or off a 3400) or ported/bored TB would help greatly.

ok, while helpful the link didn't answer all my questions. I just want to replace the upper and lower intake manifolds. I want to know if the ones off a 3400 will fit my 3100. Will i have to make any mods to the block or will it all bolt right up. If not I am not gonna do this and just have it p&p.

I dont think anyone has done it here for the same reason you are hesitating. No one knows if they willd irectly bolt up.
