How do the core charges work for RSM's 62mm TB? Do they send you the TB and then you send them the stock one. Is there a way to get the $100 back?

That's how you get the core charge back! Once you send them the old part, they give you the core charge back. That is pretty much how it works with any auto parts. ;)

RSM is sneaky, the core charges with them are for in-store credit only. So next time you order from them they'll deduct the cost of the corecharge from the new order. You're better off selling the stock pieces to another person unless there's more from RSM that you want.

What??? What kind of scam operation is that? Then they shouldn't call it a core charge. They should call it a we-give-you-a-store-credit-when-you-return-the-part charge!
That doesn't sense any make because then you're just continually paying the core charge. Like you buy Item A and send in the core, they give you a credit. Then you use that to buy item B but then eventhough you used your credit from the Item A core, you're still going to be paying the Item B core and then only getting a credit again when you return that core. It only works out if the second part you buy does not have a core; and, you have to make a second purchase no matter what or you'll never see the "money" from the core return on the first part.
That's worse than sneaky if you ask me. But oh wait RSM is in Ontario, where the government pretty much encourages businesses to take advantage of and rip-off consumers :roll2:
