What is a good vinyl/plastic cleaner for my dash and other trim.

I haven't done mine in a while but I believe Armor All is pretty good but I could be wrong.

It really depends upon your preference. There are so many products available that it would be kinda hard to say. They even make different smells for them. You can get high, medium, or low gloss. They're all basically designed to do the same thing - clean the dashboard, and protect it. Look for one with UV protection. Apply it frequently, too. If you let the dash dry it, it will be vulerable to cracking.

I like the Zaino Z-10 Leather in a Bottle. What you say?! It works great on the dash and the other plastic interior trim pieces, plus you don't get that greasy glare like you would with Armor All.
Also it gives your car that clean leather smell. :agree:
Did I say its good for LEATHER?:travis:

do you want a CLEANER or a PROTECTANT?
a cleaner could be spray nine. I've used that before, and it worked good.. Amazing how much black stuff you can get off of a steering wheel!
then always follow up with a protectant (mejuiars, zaino, or whatever)

Cleaner: Meguire's makes a good leather cleaner and protectant. Just go with a tooth bush and be gentle. then add a protectant to what you cleaned.
As far as the dash goes, I wouldn't apply anything other than a mild hand soap solution. I just hate any kind of glare off the dash. as far as a protectant goes, I wouldgo with something that leaves behind no shine, just because of the glare factor.

I use protectant, and still have some Armor-all left over from my old car. Will probably buy Mequiars next time. On the dash, I wipe it off immediately so as not to get a shine. Otherwise, I just wipe on...

I kind of like the shine on the interior plastic and vinyl. I use Black Magic. It seems to last alot longer than ArmorAll and smells good too. Dont get me wrong, I dont soak it on like crazy, but spray it on a lint-free small towel and apply it that way. That keeps overspray off my glass and doesn't make it too wet/shiny. As for cleaner, I dont leave my windows open too much to allow dust/dirt inside, so I find that applying the protectant removes any dust that is there anyway.
i'd say armour all ... .all the way.. how i do it is i spray it on wipe all the dirt off and it will give a minium shine than re apply it and rub it in good and u will get her shinning realy nice! than keep some armour all wipes in the back and when it get dirty the next day and you want to do a fast clean just pull one out and wipe.
i find its shine will last real long if u do it that way.
