is it possible to repair a high gloss silver rim that was rubbed up against a curb? if so how much would it cost? if anyone has had this done can they get it back to, or pretty close to new? thanks

u could sand the rim down really well and repaint it. you would have to do all of them though because u will never get the paint to match. u will just have to sand the crap out of the scratched one...to do all 4 sand down by hand and the paint and such it cost me a little under $100

Are you talking stock chrome Grand Am rims or what?:shrug:

so painted?
if painted an easy repair, if a polished aluminum it could get more costly

cost is no issue because the rim is now discontinued and i cant find a replacement anywhere so repairing it fully is possible?
