i know its early but here's the deal. Every year a friend of mine gets a few rooms reserved on his CC, and then as people need them you call and re-reserve the room in your name... you know... so we can have a block rooms. Well its going to happen again this year.

We will be reserving rooms in the beginning of feb, and will be available until april 15th. After that you are on your own.

We will leave friday, prolly between 10am and noon if you want to ride in the convoy with us. We will be starting in Honeoye (not honeoye falls, but the town of honeoye with the lake) and just take 15s all the way down. Nice, easy 3.5h drive. We'll roll in, get over to drop cars off that will be inside (prolly just his), get registered, and then spend the rest of the night getting drunk (yay).

the show is May 5th-7th. Its not like the classic "sport compact" show they've put on and had problems with, but more of a high-end car/truck/suv AND sport compact show. I have been in personal contact with the guy running the show, and it sounds to be a lot more promising this year. He will be running drive-in judging, but this time it's going to work (unlike m2's disaster). He said he's been promoting/running shows for 10 years in Ohio, and he's actually into the scene unlike the previous guys who have put on the show. Lots of shit ta do as usual.

obviously only basic information is available for now, but the site will be continually updated as we get closer to show time.

plus it would be good to see ya agian, altho i dont really remember YOU but i remember you car from 2 years ago. mine was bone stock then except for the interior and rims. maybe you were lucky enough to see my bunout and the break was on i screwed up and people video taped it and mocked me for like 2 weeks after it happend. :lol:

Haven't checked the Carlisle site lately, but this sounds like a pretty interesting show, althought I still see the same thing happening as in past years. Its still geared toward the same crowd of people. Just not hopefully 3-4 years older that same crowd has matured wnough to behave....somewhat.

Well the guy running the show said they are gearing it more towards high-end luxury vehicles, the big ol' SUVs and trucks. Then he said compacts are still welcom....

having said all that, im sure there will be immaturity, but we should luck out.... when we stayed in 03, we were at this days inn that wasnt bad at all.... and it was nice n quiet cause it was like a 7-10 minute away drive

well i might have to stop out. my buddy used to go all the time who knows i might drop out that way with a buddy if he wants to go. since it's only 3hr 6min drive or somehting like that for us we might just go 1 night or somehting i let you know when it get closer and stuff.

UH..... i have no idea who from GI is going. I don't really talk to anyone from there anymore, and only by fault of my own, but im going to assume a good majority....

overall, if things go as i am planning them, we should have quite the huge convoy.... from GI, to my team, to people from roclife and then random other people i know along the way....

We are staying at the Harrisburg West Holiday Inn (which is actually in Mecanicsburg)... it is 7 miles from the fairgrounds

As of today there were only 24 rooms left. If you plan on going, and would like to stay around me (cause im so loved and everyone wants to be my friend :) ) then you can call 717-697-0321 and reserve a room for

Check Out - Sunday

rooms are 112 and some change per night with AAA discount

I do have a couple of rooms still reserved with my name on them, that I am waiting to see if real-life friends need before my forum friends (please don't take offense to that) but i am only giving them a week to decide, so next week I will have rooms for anyone who wants to re-reserve them... I will update again next week with how to do that :)

So whos all going to this show? I'll be there but without the GA. I was planning on it to still be in the body shop, but thats on hold for the time being. Does anyone know the classing? Hopefully its not like the compact shows with their trashy set up with the years.
