Go to a good auto parts store and ask to see a wheel stud for you car, then measure. :)

I know thats easier said then done. I work 14 hours from civilization and I dont even own a grand am. I need the size of the wheel stud to run them in my corvette brakes on a fiero.
So, thats why I came here. hoping someone had replaced their studs with some ARP units. Id rather buy ARP than over pay for GM. in order to get ARP i need to know the sizes.

Try www.rockauto.com
They have a good data base for cross reference.

Ya know, in the 6.5 years I've been running this site, no one has ever asked this question. I just wish I knew the answer for you. :)

I'm thinking that the knurls and the length are pretty much standard. It doesn't make much sense to make the knurls different and the lugs are usually open ended. Even closed ended lug nuts fit over standard studs.
The only exception would be the studs found on trucks where everything is over sized.
It's not a definite answer but the worst that can happen is that you spend ~$20 on studs that don't work. At least you'll know what not to buy again.
I tried to measure the studs that I removed from my last wheel bearing replacement but they are lost somewhere in the garage.
