what do you guys think of this.. and if you know of somewhere where they're asking UNDER $700 for it.. primed.. because i'm looking into purchasing one for the GT i'm getting.. ((**note: this goes along with the moonroof thread i posted**)) and i also found one on ebay that didn't look too bad, but it wasn't a functional ram-air style hood.. here's what the non-functional one looks like.. and they're asking $295 for it.. it comes primed and with a waranty

I like the first one the most the one on E-bay I would be a bit skeptical about reagrding quality and alignment. besides the Ram Air just looks better. IMHO

Every time you drive your car, you are going to be looking at that boxy $300 hood and hating it. That doesn't belong on a Grand Am.

Get a SD hood. Keep you eyes open, you can find used SD's and SC/T's. People are always selling when they change hoods or sell their cars.

^ :agree:

if you check around on the boards here and at grandamgt.com then you might be able to find one used, already painted the correct color. personally I really don't like that cheaper hood, I wouldn't wish it on any car.

There's also the Carbon Fiber SD Hood Group Buy going on too :) Only $600.
