So I'm not sure if I'm putting this in the right place since I'm new and all so if I'm wrong then forgive me lol.

My car is as stock as can be. I bought it last year from a private seller, its a 1999 Pontiac Grand Am SE, black, 2 doors, sunroof. My brother has put alot of money into his truck making it nice as hell and one of the tallest trucks on the east coast. I swore I'd never put that much money into my car but I want to do something to it. I want to get a body kit and spoiler along with tinted windows but I don't even know where to start. Should I look around here for these parts and what types of places should I be looking for or should I look online? Is it better to buy from a store, online store, private seller, or Ebay? Sorry for all the questions, you'd think I'd know something about car parts after living with my brother and his "hobby." Any answers would be greatly appreciated, I want to make my car look as sweet as some of the cars you guys have. I'll post some pictures of it tommorrow when the sun is up.

also check out www.pfyc.com
if you can get a hold of some GT bumpers then you can get the SC/T body/lip kit

my advice:
browse around the forums a while and look at what some other people have done, and then you can ask them how they did it and where they got all of the stuff from. where you get the materials really depends on the project:

ie. if you want to do some vinyl stuff, I suggest asking sign-making stores in the area for scrap
if you want to do LED's or cold cathode tubes then ebay, superbrightleds.com, and oznium.com have worked for me
if you want a bodykit, well you will most likely get it online, but whether its through one of the many websites or else the buy/sell/trade forums on here or other places depends on your tastes and your budget, and you should definately do some research before buying one
if you want your interior painted, then either spray-paint from Lowe's or else find someone who can spray it for you with a gun
etc
etc
etc
