Hello, I could really use some help since this is my first time ever having leather. Should I be putting something on it so it will maintain over the years, maybe like a conditioner or something? The dealer never recommended doing anything like that when I bought it but I was just wondering.

Also, A pack of sweeet and sour sauce froze then busted all over my seat, its now super sticky and oily. What is the best product to clean leather? I havent cleaned it yet because I dont want to take the chance of messing the leather up. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I think the owners manual suggests using saddle soap. I have zymol 2 step cleaner and conditioner that seems to work well.

I used Eagle One leather cleaner and same brand conditioner. Both worked well. The leather in the GAs is quite tough and hard to damage. You can clean messes with almost anything. A damp cloth should do the trick to clean up your sweet and sour sauce mess.

But one or twice a year use a leather cleaner followed by a leather conditioner, which gets massaged in (lucky seats!) for best results. The conditioner just helps to keep the leather pliable and supple, maintaining a moisture level and preventing drying out and cracking.

Before cleaning be sure vacuum the seats really well, opening up any seams and creases and getting all the little bits of grit out.
