I purchased a set of rims from wheelguyz.com about little over a year ago. They chipped so bad i decided to take them off and see if they can get repaired; the guy told me he couldnt do it because of the chrom. So my best bet is 2 send them back 2 the manufactor and have them redipped...
What im asking is could i just a chrome paint and try to paint the rims??
Anyone else have any ideas; say em please

No. Real chrome and "chrome paint" are way different things. Keep the Krylon can away from the car.

Thats the worst idea ever. But that sucks about your chrome rims... those things arent cheap. Id say you could get a new set for less than the cost of getting the old rims re-chromed.

It would look terrible, like spray on window tint terrible. But not Ivan The Terrible terrible.

Why don't you just pour liquid mercury on your rims and call it a day?

So after all of this I decided to just try and peel the chrome off...Its a nice black color not 2 bad..
Only problem w/ peeling off the chrome is that it would take forever if i did it..
Have yall heard of anything to where this could be alittle bit easier??

peeling is the only safe way I can think of without destroying the rest of the rim.

damn, those would look awesome if they were stripped, then repainted gunmetal or black, with a high gloss machined lip. I honestly thought the peeling would look worse than that
