Call and make your reservation ASAP... I blocked off 30 rooms - 18 double queens and 12 kings, please specify smoking or non because they have a LOT more smoking than the non although they will do everyting they can to air it out all you have to do is request that. So for that weekend at $69.95 for 2 double beds, and $65 for 1 king. these rooms are originally around $92.95. I was also able to get these rooms together so you all won't be all over the hotel.
Make your reservation before the 30 days before the event otherwise the rooms are off the "group block".
If you need to cancel, please do so 24 hours prior.
This includes indoor pool, spa, free high speed internet in the rooms, refridgerator, coffee pot, continental breakfast in the morning.
When you call & make your reservation it is blocked under the name of Club ECM OR Group number 101564 - you can use either or.
For those who remember the area... it is the hotel behind the restaurant The Butcher Block and Dunkin Donuts.
PM me if you feel I left anything out or if I can answer any questions.

She said the rooms will all be together. I had a choice to spread all of you out or contain you to one area. I told her it was in the best interest of the Club AND more importantly the hotel to push all you hooligans to one area :evil2:

I wouldn't lie, but I would stretch the truth. Creating an even that doesnt happen might come back to bite you ass later.

Through Montreal it's about 6 hours. Through Syracuse about 5.5 but then you have to cover the tolls.
I'm heading down early on the third.

I usually go through Montreal. I find the roads to be better and traffic lighter. There's rarely more than 5 minutes wait at the border too.

I always go via syracuse. The people at the boarder dont give me a hastle that way. Every time i cross anywhere else they take my car apart. They even take my spare tire out and search my doors and stuff! Also its faster to go this way as well. I will be going this way. It took me about 5 hours last year. Let me know if you want to tag along.

Craig Alright sounds good, don't feel like waiting for the car to be torn apart. I have a feeling my friend and I are going to raise suspicion(sp) anyway (Two 17 year olds and an 18 year old)

Just a reminder... you must register your room by July 1st to take advantage of the $65 $ $70 a night rate, room rates increase to $92 after that.

am I safe to hold off on the hotel booking for a little while??? still not positive if Trina can make it ...
just looked at the previous post, I guess there is a special rate if I book before July 1st??
so, if I book it for 2 persons, and only 1 shows up... will they still charge me the same ??? or will they just downgrade it to 1 person and thats it??
Gimli
06-01-2006, 04:08 PM
The rate is per room, not per person. And you book the room, not for any specific number of people. So if only one shows up nothing changes with the reservation.

there is usually an extra premium for more people... I thought there was anyway... so, to get the discount I have to book over the phone right ??

Right. The premium, when there is one, is only for 3+ people and usually only 10-25$ total. I've never seen anyone getting "busted" for it though.

No age to book a hotel. You just need a credit card. I booked my own room for albany last year.
Silver03SE
06-23-2006, 05:36 PM
Really? It says on the hotel's site that there must be some 21 or older in each room, but I guess if you pay with a credit card they probably won't check...now I need to find someone to share a room with.

Try calling the Quality Inn, they gave me the group rate 2 weeks after it was suppose to end last year. You just have to talk to a real person and see what they can do for you.
