Day one - meet n greet... lots of drinking

day two - up to the park... lots of drinking and watching me and Seth suck our guts in because of the HOT life guards/ mom's running around with all the lil kids

day three - go waste money at some theme park, OR sit in the hot tub with the ladies, and drink

day 4 - the track or something... drinking that night

day 5 - the peace out... don't forget your 40 for the ride home...

There, i just planned it, so whats the big hub-bub? lol

Also shawn, im just gonna throw this out there right now... i got a new job on the 9-6 m-f gig.... so is it possible to have the thatcher park day be on the weekend this year? I bet more people would be able to attend if it was on the weekend as well

Right now we are in a lottery for the park - it is a very popular park for parties in the summer so we register and hope to get the day and time. They will choose next month, we try to do it on a weekday so that we can get the day set in stone (looking to do it Friday) and the track is Sat morning.

We'll have a definate day in the next couple weeks.

How about a light show on one of the nights?

a light show?

Yea, a light show. Every day has something going on. The nights are free.

Headlight competition could be one class. All you need is a light meter. Somebody should have one if they did any serious photography.

Exterior lights - many people have those, hoods, trunks, underbodies, grills, fuel door, etc. And then you have various types of interior lighting.

It gives everyone a chance to mill about in the dark and check out the neons, LED's, cold cathodes, incadescents, shop lights, pumpkins, candles, oil lamps and anything else people can think of sticking on their cars that lights up.

I definately agree, if at all possible, shine + show on Friday would be awesome. I was going to come up fri/sat last year but had no idea where anyone was on friday.

I'm affraid to know where you hid your dollar in your swim suit... lol Worst part is, it's probally a silver dollar. :D

Yeah lastyear the rain sucked, but thank god it didnt last long.

BTW, we will a Paint Mines site this year like we were for 2003 and 2004. 2004 we over grew the Paint Mines and thought we needed a larger area. However with the smaller than expected turn out last year we were to scattered apart. Plus the Paint Mines is a nicer site and more private.

I would expect a larger turn out this year.

More members and the Show is on a Friday.

BTW, Gus keeps a roll of dimes for the pool. The tums melted last time.

Hi Leanne or whomever is in charge of such things. I'm not trying to be a pain but I remember the dates as being Aug 17-20. I see the title says Aug 3-6. Was there a change I missed or am I losing it in my advanced age?

I tried the link from the main page but there are no dates on that. I'm not able to see any kind of mention about the schedule either except for in this thread. Is it someplace I haven't thought of yet?

I did see a group picture from 2004. Is there one scheduled for 2006? Thanks.
