Keyless Remote Question

First, I apologize if this post is in the wrong area. I will repost elsewhere if this is the case.

I own a 99 Grand Am SE1. I do not have the keyless entry fobs, but I am trying to figure out if I need to buy a whole keyless entry system, or if my Grand Am has the equipment installed already. If it does, I can simply pick up a keyless remote, program it and I'm good to go.

Where does one find out if they have the necessary equipment installed for keyless entry? My car has power door locks, does that mean I already have most of what I need?

Any assistance in finding this answer is greatly appreciated.

i asked this question about 5 days ago and Rocketfast321 told me to check the spare tire cover and if it says AU0 it is has the keyless fob already.

Thanks for the info. I checked my spare tire cover and no go. I guess I'm going to have to take the hit and pay for a full system.
