the past few tanks of gas i have had i have noticed that id be lucky if the gauge would read 1/8th and id have about 180 miles on the tank... thats no where near what she should be averaging... i havent been driving her hard, been letting her warm up... but i should still hit 200 miles to the tank i would think.... i also noticed her ideling had gotten a little rough... so i got some sea foam and after reading on here i figured about 1/3 can to half a tank of gas.... well after a 10 minute drive (after about 2 miles i could tell a huge difference in her idle! im hoping it will help the gas problem although she runs great performs like she should ahwell! so far i give seafoam 2 thumbs up!

You may want to check your spark plugs. Mine was idling rough for a long time until yesterday the SES light came on and it got worse. A couple cylinders were misfiring a lot. The problem was rusty spark plugs. Just a thought. I'm sure there are a bunch of possibilities.

ive been thinking of that, but ifigured with 30,000 miles i might be wasting time... but now that someone else has said it... its worth a shot.

I say try your best to replicate your driving the same everyday, atleast TRY,lol. Symptoms sound like a possible carbon build up. You can buy some stuff from Advance Auto,NAPA,etc....Its made by Chevron, should be like carbon clean or something. We do it at work on our 30,000 mile service(900 buck service) with flushes and new plugs,etc....

So try replicate your driving on the next full tank,if the problem stays then try doing the carbon clean. Carbon deposits can give you problems that you say you are having, poor gas milage and rough ideling

Our GA idles rough from time to time for years now.

I'll have to try a can of Sea Foam. And yes I replaced the plugs adn wires, nothing changed.

there was a great noticable difference in her idling... i might check the plugs tonight possible depending on what a friend is doing when he gets off of work... as we like late night projects... lol

spark plugs looked good.

well i got to about 1/8th tank today... about the point where i always refill unless gas is cheap.... as i pulled to the pump and reset the trip, it was reading right over 240 miles to that tank!!

thats the highest i have seen city driving in a long while!
