View Full Version : Rear End Riding Very Rough

Hey guys-
A few months ago I installed Eibach Springs on my car with 18" wheels. I installed Monroe struts/shocks all around also. It seems that the front end rides smooth enough, but the back end is rough as hell! I have roughly 300lbs of stereo in the trunk, and I wonder if this might the problem. It just seems that there is no suspension travel at all in the back, and it bottoms out over very small bumps.

I'm not sure what to do with the bad ride quality, it seems that I need more suspension travel in the rear, would air shocks help? Any suggestions appreciated!

Thanks,
Dallas

check to see the clearance between the bump stops, on my camaro(i know different cars) the stop was about 1/4" away from bottoming out, so i just took it out. just an idea.
