get the codes checked first. at autozone, checkers, advance auto parts stores, theyll do it for free. free is always worth saving up for!

Which engine and tranny do you have?

How long since the plugs (and wires, if a V6) were changed?

Yeah, get the codes read.

Prolly 3:1 chance it will be P0300 thru P0304 (or 0306, if you have the V-6).
These are the 'misfire' codes, and are set by either poor ignition or poor fuel injection.

When Check Engine is 'on', is it steady, or is it flashing?

If steady, then it's prolly a minor emissions-related thing.
If flashing, then it's something that is seriouss and needs attention before it damages other stuff.

Either way, fix it now.
A misfire can be caused by stuck-open injector(s), causing a rich mixture that destroys O2 sensors and the cat.

The light is a steady one comes on after the car warms up. Yesterday i drove it and the light came on but it wasnt missing.Maybe just a slight ruff idle.
its a 3.1 v6 and a auto tranny. I will proably go get the codes checked today or tomorrow i dont have a scanner and this model needs it :(. I cleared the codes yesterday[removed the neg battery cable for 30 seconds] but havent driven it since. Will be driving it in a few to see if the service light comes on
I just changes the wires and plugs about 200 miles ago

Steady, comes 'on' after warm-up.

High likelihood of it being a bad O2 sensor, especially if it's old.

Sorry, forgot that your '94 (and the '95's) need a special adapter for the OBD-II scanner to plug into your weird connection port.

Good luck.
