I just had a question and i would appreciate if someone could help me out. I would like to know which one is better the sway bars or the strut bars? I know both are good for the cars handling but i just want to know which one is better so i wont spend alot of money.

It's hard to say...what are you looking for?
They both do different things, but if you're looking for the best handling upgrade, then go with better rear sway bar. This will keep the front wheels firmly planted on the ground. However you can get a strut bar for like $30 off of ebay...the one made for 95+ cavy will fit, it's what I have :)

Sweet so those sway bars for the 95+ Cavaliers will fit the Grand Am? I'm ordering one of those bad boys.
Do you know if the springs will fit as well? I see cheap auctions for springs that fit up to like the 00 or 01 grand ams but all of them that fit 05's are like $150.00 plus.

Dude, I said 95+ cavy Strut Bar!!! Don't go buying the sway bar...those I don't think fit! :P

Strut tower braces will primarily stiffen the body up during turning. It acts as a support between the strut tops, so that when you turn, there is some extra force to keep the body from twisting and folding. The front end would do this most, as you have the engine bay taking up a lot of space where there isn't enough structure high up to help counter this. The result is the car feels more confident in a corner, but body roll will remain unchanged.
Sway bars will help keep body roll down and keep the tires planted better through turns. When you turn, one side of the sway bar will be forced down naturally by the turn, but the point of the sway is to tie the other side of the car together with the side in the turn. Meaning once the one side is pushed down, the bar will exert some counter force on the other wheel, pushing it to the ground as well.
