As we have for the last couple of years, I am thinking about the annual Moncton Meet.

The Speed Sport East - Car Show is at the Moncton Collesium on April 28, 29, 30. http://speedsporteast.com/

but by april... well guys... theres maybe... 1 inch of snow on the ground, and it fell like last week, and it hasnt been warm enough to melt yet. (Surprisingly) but the roads are covered in salt, once it warms up a bit more (for sure by april) there will be no salt on the roads & no snow. lol... Pool may not be a bad idea. Other years it went something like this:

Meet up at Magnet Hill McDonalds in the morning.
Travel together to the hotel and get settled in.
Grab lunch
Head to the colleseum and walk around the show for a while
Hang out in the colleseum parking lot for a bit
Go to supper together (Jungle Jims seems to be a recurring theme)
Make a quick trip to the candy store
Head back to the hotel for beer, Monopoly, more beer, gratuitous butt crack shots, and umm, more beer.
Get up the next morning and head to breakfast at the something Landing resteraunt in Crystal Palace.
Go on the roller coaster at Crystal Palace
Head home.

But I think we could fit pool in there somewhere. :D

Pfft... How about we switch up the jungle jims to Sports Rock? They have a pool table there... same type food i believe... and cheaper. Its out in dieppe... quite close to Hotel Beaujesour (sp?) if you plan on going there, but Kel said something about the hotel near the mcdonalds? and its Mcginnis landing i believe.

P.s.

After the breakfast from mcginnis, we didnt go on any roller coasters.... we went and chilled @ Costco lmao coolsters I tell ya :)

Boughten from Bonnyman Pontiac in Kentville. Sold to Discount Car & Truck. Discount had in as a rental in Halifax. Transfered car to Fredericton, NB. Then transferred to Moncton, NB, sold at Moncton Auto Center which is owned by Taylor Ford. And Ford owns Discount Car & truck. Somewhere along the way someone melted a part of my seat with cig ashes. hehe. but now I own it, and its in really purdyful condition apart from the seat, which is not noticable! :)

Its the colliseum parking lot, the far end from the road. Thats how it was last year anyway. I'm not sure as to exactly what time... just meet up at the mcdonalds on Mountain Road (not very far) and drive there, since Jason doesnt know where anything else is. :lol:

Well, this year isn't going to be any different than other years and we will all be meeting at the McDonalds on Mountain Road in Moncton @ 12:00 noon on Saturday ... from there, after some of our customary BS session, we will probably head over to the Hotel so people can check in or if they have already done this or want to do it by themselves, we will go over to the Car Show ... after the Car Show, we will more than likely go out for some "eats" (not sure where yet and is usually hashed out in the parking lot) ... then, we're open to almost anything but more than likely we'll head back to the Hotel and have some brew-skis and more BS sessions (I like this part the most) ... any additions or deletions will be openly discussed as this meet has always been very "laid back" and has generally been a lot of fun.

yea, that one is huge, and central, but its pretty busy any sunny day... I know one down on the Salisbury road, its owned by the same People I think... decent sized lot, and a 5 or 6 bay wash garage...... its not too far out of the way from the Coliseum... just down wheeler to the traffice circle, then right up the Salisbury road...

the awesome thing about it is, its never busy... you can get away with hand washing & chamoising your car... which you cant at the more busy ones.

2. The car is old and has a transmission problem, I now have a company vehicle that I drive on a daily basis, so the GA just sat there, then the wife took it and it came back with SES light. I wanna buy a new car shortly, but buying a new house first.

All I can say....It must be nice to be able to put your GA away for the winter. Mine took a real beating over the winter months.

No...The salt wasn't bad this year, as we had very little snow... compared to other years. Besides....I had it rust checked to hell. However. I did get a dent from a tree branch that was frozen, and decided to break off and land on my hood.
I also got a very deep scratch under the front bumper when I slid into a curb.

... you'd have to catch it first :lol: ... as far as driving it, I had every intension but mechanically I haven't decided whether or not to take it that far because of the front end ... it is tight and "looks as normal" but it still makes a snap if you are stopped and fullt turn the steering wheel ... really sounded like a tie rod but they are fine ... sounds similar to my car... I think its the strut mount... since multiple mechanics cant find anything wrong with it.... I drive my car between here and Halifax all the time with the same noise, your fine :P

well, I don't think I'll be coming this year. I've been having some real bad exiaty attacks for the past few months, so I rarely leave home now. It really sucks as I was looking forward to coming but I just don't want to take the chance. Oh and anybody going to Moncton that is passing through Hampton should fill up there. The gas here is always atleast a cent or two cheaper than Saint John/ Sussex and Moncton. It's not a big difference but it is if your filling the tank. Have fun guys, and if I feel ok Saturday I might just show up, just no guarantees.....

Ok... so here are my flight plans.

Leaving home at aboot 9-10 AM. (Thats 10-11 Canadian Time) and travel time is 6 hours, give or take a few for Coffee Break, Pee Break, Lunch Break, Pee Break, More Coffee Break, Pee Break... etc etc etc. So I am expecting to be there sometime early evening. No if its like the first time its the pump again... Kinda hope so since I had a 6month guaranty. From what I can see probely blew the seals in it or somthing.

Yeah can't see what it could be, rack n pinion maybe?) But if thats the case would rather go thru a pump every blue moon, then take a chance with the rack n pinion (Like $500 + Labor) Now that I know that I can't make very sharp turns (Unless I need to) doubt that I blow another one, if thats the case this time. :)
