i was under my car the other day and noticed my car doesn't have any sort of rear anti-swaybar :(

so does any model of similar year have a rear sway bar i can just bolt on? i hate how bad our cars understeer and the body roll is almost scary sometimes.

thanks

well the only model year of the ga that came with sway bars where the GT. But I have just discovered something. If you go to the junk yard and find a Beretta GT car see if it has the swaybar and get it I just did that to my car and it fit like a perfect glove. All most looks like the Beretta and GA was made with the same under carriege. Well hope this help I know its bee a while since you posted this.

ok so the similar year GT's (mid 90's) had rear swaybars?... i know there are a few in our junkyards, but last time i was there i wasn't even looking for grand am stuff, looking for parts for my mr2

i'll go take a look on my day off hopefuly, a rear bar whould help balance the car a lot.

thanks

How much would one cost at a junk yard?

localy they range from about $20 to $35, depends on the yard, make sure to get all the mounting hardware, and i sugest throwing it in your tool box, who knows they may want to charge you for those lil bits on top of the bar

well I paid only 25 w/ all the hardware. Now you have noproblems with the way to mount the swaybar. I had to mount it a little diffrent. Anything from 92-94 are fine 95 you have some problems. I just tried mine and WOW big diffrence in how it haddles. remmember only the beretta GT's have it not sure if the GTZ have it or not. I think the GTZ may also have a larger front swaybar not sure if its the same size or not. Well hope this helps you
