Well Im from victoria bc but this summer my fiancee and me are heading into alberta in Sep 2006 for our honeymoon... and we are doing a road trip through the rockies and into drumheller and calgary. But are looking for places to stop an see... anyone recomend anything.. or even a small meet.. but not too sure if she would be up for it.. ( being it will be our honeymoon)

yea buddy, us EME boys are packed like sardines in Borden right now. You keepin safe over there? A buddy of mine (MSC op) is posted to edmonton in a few months along with a few others from BMQ that I know, hopefully ill be able to catch up in a year or so. Anywho, keep safe man, its getting a bit hairy over there from what I hear. Oh hehehe, btw, there is nothing wrong with one of those new HL's, they look sweet :)

I lived in Edmonton for 2 years while attending NAIT, but now I'm back in good old Saskatchewan! If I were to live anywhere else though... it'd be in Edmonton... fun place!

I'm living in sherwood park now but moving into the city at the end of the month .. for you Canadian forces guys .. I hope that you havent had to go through any of the trouble we've been hearing so much about in khandahar .. Best wishes and be safe

i know this post is almost a month old, but i figured i'd post up, i'm in calgary.
I saw a white 99-03 GAGT here about a week ago that had really cool LED tails that did a pattern thing with the signal light... anyone know who makes the tails or where i can get em?

Anyone interested in a group buy (from Calgary) on Cold Air Intake system, Borla cat-back exhaust system, Lower intake manifold gasket stuff (I got a quote from Calgary dealer, about $300 just in parts for hoses, gasket, etc...) maybe we can get it cheaper on the internet.

as far as I know all 99 and up have it. your prob just missing the remote which you can get at the dealer and they can tell you for sure.

theres a few riced out GA's around edmonton here. They all seem to have fart pipes and ugly assed kits. Thankfully, they arnt a part of this site from what I know of

I just got back from a 10 week business trip in Calgary. Every single person that I talked to that asked where i was fun hassled or haggled me in some way...every one.
It was minimum 3 times per day for 10 weeks. Worse when I would goto a lounge and watch an Edmonton Oilers hockey game.

OK, at hockey games you have to expect it - just think about going to a pub and seeing a flames fan in Edmonton...
I went up to Edmonton for a wood skills seminar (was there to pick up an award for engineered wood design) - and distinctly recall even the mention of Calgary got several "boos" and laughs... I guess it all comes down to who you're around.
Our tech support guys for one of our programs is based out of Edomnton, and he even has said that there seems to be more actualy animosity from Edmontonians towards Calgarians than the other way around.
I'm jealous that you guys still have Red Robin's retsraunts;
My brother, sister-in-law, and myself drove up to Edmonton a couple weeks back simply to go to Red Robins!
