Hey guys, my car's been through a lot and the inside of my foglights are pretty gross. I'm trying to find a good way to clean em, hopefully someone can give me some tips. So far, I've tried pouring in water and swishing it around and wiping the inside with Q-tips inserted through the bulb hole. Neither method has been very effective... any ideas??? Thanks!

I was wondering what kind of cleaning solvents I could use that would work well w/o melting the plastic or somethin like that (i.e. could I use bleach or rubbing alcohol?)

WOW ... don't think I have heard of anyone trying to do this before ... I can picture it being quite hard though ... not trying to spend your money, but, I think that I saw a whole set of fog lights for your car recently on eBay  ... good luck bud :)

... on second thought, I just talked to the wife and as strange as this sounds it would probably work ... go a the grocery store (or a 'dollar store') and pick-up a 'baby bottle brush' which you can bend the end slightly and get into the corner ... pretty neat, eh!! :D

Ah-ha!! That's genius! Thanks Kelly! I think I'm gonna try it. Yeah i sae those lights on eBay but they're now ~34+s/h and they were 16+s/h just a little while ago, so I'll wait and see if they go down again and maybe then get a set. Until then, it's baby bottle brush time!!! Any idea how bleach/rubbing alcohol might affect this material?

:bigok: ... I'll tell the wife as it was her idea :)

Well, I don't think that I would trust the bleach but alcohol MIGHT be OK ... you may want to try it on a small corner area or something to see ... personally, I would just try warm water and soap with the 'bottle brush' and it should would just fine :)
