I have a set of Spring springs. 1.6r 1.4f, I believe. They seem
to work fine. I think i'm going to get some kyb shock/struts this spring because the factory ones are going to shhitt.

I had intrax and was thrilled with the ride quality and most definitely with the look. I'd suggest Intrax; I may end up with a set on the Grand Am again this summer if I'm too broke to the air setup I wanna do.

Kind of unrealistic IMO. You'll be changing the ride with any set of lowering springs. And the ride will probably degrade the farther down you go. My eibachs can even be punishing in certain circumstances.

Well i want to get the springs that will use all of the remaining strut. so its lowered but not to an extreme. But i can handle rough. I dont think its unrealistic

You won't be disappointed with the way the Intrax springs ride. I've actually heard the Eibachs are stiffer than the Intrax, so you feel more of every bump with them. It was a slihglty nitoticable ride difference, but far from a lumber truck.

As already stated, with any set of lowering springs, the ride will be stiffer, and you will feel a lot more of the road. Some people dislike this, but honestly, if you want a lower stance, be prepared for the 'negative' of a rougher ride. I, myself, welcome to stiffer ride since I find comfort in feeling all of the road, it makes me more alert and more confortable while driving.

yea i know it will be stiffer. I drive a tow truck im used to stiff. and one of the reasons im getting these is to make it handle the corners better untill i can save up for bigger rims

If I understand suspension correctly, a set of adjustable struts can negate some, if not most of the 'crappy' ride.

Apparently, KYB is releasing their AGX's for our cars in the near future:)

Plus, Wstangland, I notice you'll be going from a cushy SE ride to a lowered ride. A GT isn't exactly a comfortable ride to begin with, and lowering them just makes it more noticeable. You'll basically feel like your in an entirely different car. Make sure all your dash pieces are tight and held together well. :D

sweet ill have to look for those later on. And i know i have an se thats and the ride is too soft for my liking. i will except the new ride with open arms. but thanks for the concern plus i dont drive the car much under 10000 miles a year.

I haven't known anyone with Eibachs actually needing the alignment kits. I don't have them, and my camber is fine.

you usually have ot worry about chamber kits with a more of a drop than the eibachs give. As for springs, I like my eibachs though I have had problems iwht the eibach/kyb combo wearing away my plates, but its gone away now that ive worn through them
