Here is a phot of the Next Level bars for '99+ Ga's.
This is front and rear. The round brackets are for the rear, the little red ones are for the front. The bars have adjustable ends that secure to the bracket with a nut & bolt.
It would be pretty simple with some nice 1" square tubing or round stock. Cut some nice 1/8" plates that will fit nicely around the sturt and bolt one with the strut bolts, or atleast two of them.
Then messure, cut and test fit the tube across the engine bay with teh hood closed to make sure it clears. If it fits weld the tubing across the engine bay to your brakets.
A strut bar does have to be adjustable, just as long as it's secure and braces the strut towers. On that note a straight bar will provide more strength than a bent one.
Lets ee pics when you done.

No, the red brackets are for the front ... the larger black ones are for the back :)

... Sure, but, I don't think they would be the same size as your car ... personally, I would make the brackets first and get them so you are happy with them ... THEN, I would make the 'bar' taking into account that you need to have a swivel eyelet at either end (one with a right hand thread and other with a left hand so you can tighten the 'bar' up after insalling it in place) ... if you think abou it, there really isn't much to it and the only reason I bought it instead of making it was the fact I felt lazy :wink4:

He doesn't really 'need' the eyelets. He could very well make a solid bar across the top that isn't adjustable. It would be alot more simple to do, and still effective. Remember the old mustangs with the flat braces from the inner fenders to the firewall? :)

Sure ... a non-adjustable brace would be a 'snap' to build ... I just thought with a tiny bit more work, he could have it fully adjustable :) ... but, you are definately right John :)
