Alright, so I'm looking at this vehicle.. It has about 54000 miles on it.. Interior is in prestine condition, however the outside is.. a little scratched up. Mainly the front bumper clip is bad, deep scratches that a buffer could not take out.. More like it has to be sanded and repainted..
Anyways, it's the "40th Edition" Supercharged.. GT????? Or is a GTP? It says "GP" 40th ann on the side, and the only place it says supercharged, is on the hood scoops.
But this thing is loaded, embroidered leather seats, the really nice burgendy color, sun roof, power everything, sun roof, heads up display, driver seat butt warmer.. dual climate.. And I tested the butt-dyno :) .. felt pretty good.
So, anyone on here want to turn me away from this vehicle for any reason??? Also, what do you think is a reasonable price? KBB says retail is just under $12,000 in "perfect" condition.
Oh yes, it's a lease return. Old couple that turned it in for a Prius..

ive seen one around my work. an older couple own it. its a purple color, chrome wheels/exhaust tips, got the hood scoops. it looks like a bad ass grand prix. im not sure with the outsideb eing as you discriped how much a fair price would be.... you can lowball them and let them go up and play that game... i dont think i would give more then 9500 for it though.

I've got a 40th and I absolutely love it. It's a 2dr and it had approximately 39K on it when I bought it Feburary of last year. Including Tax, Title, and License, we ended up with it for a little bit over $14,000. I'm jealous though, mine has everything except a sunroof... grr.
As far as whether it is supercharged or not, the 40th's were offered in both the GT and GTP trims. The GT's are black and the GTP's are black cherry. GT's have the L36 engine and the GTP's have the L67. The one you are looking at is a GTP.
Do some research on www.clubgp.com. There is a wealth of information on that board. Just be careful and make sure to do your research before you start diving into pulley swaps and tuning. I just went from a 3.8 pulley to a 3.4 pulley and even with all of my supporting mods, I'm fighting a slight bit of KR. Whatever you do, make sure to buy a scanner before any other mods. Trust me, it will be your best friend. Personally, I use the LS1m software, but there are a number of good ones including Autotap and DHP Powertuner.

I looked at one just like the one your looking at last year for 14,000 and 45,000 miles on it. I didnt buy it cause at the time my older 94 grand am was running fine. I should have bought it tho, that thing kicked ass. But i ended up buying a 04 SC/T this year cause the 94 took a shit.

...anyways... back to subject here...
I lust for those GPs! That purple is sweet, plus the hood scoops and rims... gorgeous.
