We have a GAOC/ECM meet every spring in CT. Theres a post about this years meet in this section. It's going to be held in June. If you have any questions feel free to contact Jay (blackgt2k) he is heading up the meet. If you want I am also open for questions too. I know New York isnt considered New England, but I will be hosting a meet somewhere close to NYC in septemeber this year. You can also contact me about that if you have any questions. Then theres always the albany meet that a lot of people go to.

i think it would be cool to meet more people that own a Grand am. i have a 92 grand am (se) but i have since bought a 93 GT and striped every thing and any thing that i think i might need in the future. i do have a digital camera that i have taken picts. of my car, but i don't know how to put them onto this site. my boyfriend is usualy the one who can help with a lot of mechanical questions. we live in Wareham, MA. i an turning my SE model into a GT. i only wish the whole car was in good shape. the under carage was wrotted and the engine has NO spark.

no offense but you guys need to check these threads a little more. there are tons of New England meets that have been going on and are going on. I run the new england chapter for ClubECM. we are always trying to meet up and get people to go to shows together. this year so far alls i have been getting is excuses for why people cant go to them. I understand things come up and or people dont want to drive the distance. though if you want to meet up, it cant always be in your backyard.
for example"
may 27th - Englishtown NJ, pontiac day at the track.
june 2-4 CT show and shine.
august 3-6 Albany NY
august 12th, Nutmeg chapter POCI show in RI.
octber - Barberino Nutmeg chapter POCI in CT.
november - pontiac nationals in ATCO NJ.
the shows are there for people to go to though no one is willing to go. we try every year to get people out to these shows. last year we had a great turn out for the CT show. it would be awesome if we had an even better turn out this year. if anyone has a question regarding shows in the New England area please feel free to contact me and we can get meets going in all different areas so that people have a chance to get out and see the different areas and meet new people.....instead of saying that "we should have more meets, lets actually have them..." I myself have already gone to 3 this year in New England. if you have questions as me....ill be more than happy to help.

I have been to every show along with Jay. I have already been to albany twice this year been to Jersey once and been out to PA once all for car shows/gatherings. I have also been to Jays house for mod days about 5 times and its not even may yet. Me and Jay run two different Chapters of Club ECM so between me and him we here about alot of different shows and meets. I have a basic list of the big shows we will be attending ths year listed in the East Coast section and it is stickyed, For the most part there always cant be a meet that is close to your house, most of the time you are going to have to travel. If you dont want to travel then you shouldnt complain about there not being enough meets.
