if I got 17"s

what Tire size would I get for my 17's I plan on getting next month??? i'm guessing 225/45/17's, and I got that from the tire calculator. What if I got 18's, what size for those??? Any info would be deadly..... Thanx

Oh and for my 17's I have 215/45

I'm also running 215/45/17 tires. 225/45 might be pushing it for clearance.

me three, i have 215/45 and its pretty close, are you lowered? that dosent matter though that isnt where you will have scrubbing problems, its pretty tight at the bottom of the fender, my tire misses it by about 1/2 and inch, if that, i think 225/45 will scrub, those are like the tires on a mustang gt right?

im actually thinking about getting the same set of tires. i need new tires. anyone of you guys using spacer on your rims?
im using 5/16" spacer cause my rims didnt clear my front hub.

I just put 17's on my grand am and I have 225/45-17's and they do not rub at all.
