The background I'm not sure about. Anyone have any ideas what I can do to replace the background?

oops, forgot to add -- damn sik at first I really thought that was simplistic flash, but it seems you did all that without the aid of flash and made it look better than flash could!! You have some talents for design there. Love it :D :thumbup:

Nice work there, Matt. Since you guys are all pimpin' your goods... I'll list a couple of my sites. Just personal stuff... one is as old as dirt that I did in support of a band I enjoyed, and the other is my bro's site. The band one doesnt always work because it is served for free and it sucks... dont really care anyway I stopped promoting it. My bro's site I never really finished and the navigation sucks but he's been a prick lately so its not on my to-do list, lol.

Brad - LoL; I know how you feel. I need to overhaul my site for my own sake and everytime I go to it I notice something new wrong. It's an endless quest like the damn car is...haha.

Thanks for the props Matt. Interestingly enough I don't even know how to use Flash. At my stupid university, the classes I went through exposed and taught us Macromedia Director. Go figure huh? Definitely on my list of things to teach myself I just never got around to it. I just hate coding in general...LoL I'll do it but I'd rather not. Form over function...who cares how it works as long as it looks pretty right? LoL

I'm in the same boat as Sik, I have yet to learn the mystical ways of Flash either. Just havent gotten around to it but I need to make it a priority because it opens up a lot of possibilities.

most of the time it is better to go with a simple back ground and upgrade the graphics on the page.

The site i built for a paint ball course had a black background but the heading letters were all blobs of paint dripping down the page. and if there was a button you could have it depress when you click on it ... some times subtle things make a site great.
