Need some information on Rim paint

Okay. I'm too lazy to buy actual rims, but I do want my stock rims to be painted black. What kind of paint should I get to use on my rims?

...I have to ask...isn't it more work to sand, paint, repaint, sand, clear coat, re-clear coat, and let dry, then to pay someone to put new wheels on your car???


For the constructive part of this post...do a search, I know a few people have painted thier wheels :)

ive painted my stock rims twice already (2 dif colors) first time i actually took it serious. sanded it,primed,paint,clear. i used some rim paint i think its by dupli-color ill get back to you on that i might have some laying around. they came out great.smooth and shiney i sprayed them gunmetal first. this winter i sprayed them white to go with the theme i already have going. and kinda just hit them with about 3 diff whites i had laying around. but anyways there is paint out there to use on your rims i bought mine at autozone
